“I have a little hole in my drive on the other side of the house. And I went to pick up some rocks to fill them holes. And I didn’t put the rock in the hole. And I was standing up on the side of my truck. With a broom sweeping it off. Sweeping my truck off,” said Bryant.
Bryant admitted that he was terrified.
A 98-year-old man in Florence, SC, says being robbed at gunpoint in his own yard was the most terrifying experience he’s ever had.
“It scared me so bad,” he said. “I mean, when I saw it. Two of them breaks in the house and they both had big guns. They were in my face and I didn’t have any choice but to give them what they wanted. They took all my money and they took my phone.”
Police said the two subjects fled the area on foot, but nobody knows who they are.
Due to the inability to track the suspects using a canine unit, the officers were unsuccessful.
Investigators were able to find Bryant’s cellphone near his home but it was broken.
Bryant has been living in his home for 66 years, and he says it’s been nothing but good times.

Bryant says he never had any issues, and nothing was ever a problem. He’s grateful to be alive and happy.
Bryant remarked that there is too much violence in the world today.
When asked why some people would rather do bad to others than get a job, he said: “I don’t know.”
“These kids nowadays. They won’t work. All they want to do is rob somebody, steal,” Bryant said.
